Free Internet Services

    There are many places on the Internet where you can get free services. Free e-mail services, guestbooks, page counters/trackers, free home page space, URL forwarding/redirection and, free or near-free ISPs (Freenets) make the Internet fun to use.     iName provides free web-based e-mail service including e-mail forwarding and personal address (yourname@iname.com). Enroll on the WWW; existing e-mail address required.

    LYCOS
    Provides web-based free e-mail service and personal address (yourname@lycosemail.com). A few features, no pop3 retriever. Developed by iName. Enroll on the WWW.

    Net@ddress
    Provides free full e-mail service (web-based and POP3/SMTP), e-mail rovers (pop3 retriever), personal address (yourname@USA.Net), and reminder notices. Enroll on the WWW.

    AmExMail
    The credit card company provides web-based free e-mail service, personal address (yourname@USA.Net, yes this is correct, the same as Net@address above), POP3 only (yourname@amexmail.com), no SMTP, e-mail rovers (pop3 retriever) and reminder notices.
